The Work of Art as an Intersection
A work of art is formed by human hands – hands in direct contact with a natural substance, which then takes on an individual form, conveying the vision of the artist into the human world and natural things. The natural thing is individualised by the primordial intersection of Being and pure relationship, and this initial individuality is isolated and heightened by metaphysical experience.
